Porsche Wins 12 Hours of Sebring!

2008-penske-sebring-porsheWhat a headline. For the last two decades it has only been a dream. Now, for the first time in 20 years Porsche took the checkered flag ending Audi’s eight-year winning streak.

Romain Dumas, Driving the Roger Penske owned RS Spyder, won the race with a margin of just 12.9 seconds. Sharing the win with Dumas were Timo Bernard of Germany and Emmanuel Collard of France. To top things off, the win by the Penske owned Porsche makes his team the first to with the Daytona 500, Indianapolis 500 and 12 hours of Sebring (a pretty amazing accomplishment).
