    I was there – it was a runaway victory for Porsche. If I remember correctly, 908 Porsches took all the first 6 places – an impressive feat!! The Targa Florio was a very tough road race in the Sicilian mountains and retirements and accidents were the order of the day so Porsche’s achievments are the nmore impressive.
