Did Your Porsche See its Shadow Today?

Depending on what part of the world you live in you just might be waiting to see what Punxsutawney Phil has to say today. Is winter over? Or, do we have another six weeks of cold, dreary snow and winter to look forward to? If this winter’s weather in the New England is any indication, my guess is it will be a while yet before my cars are coming out of the garage.

I know, I know, the shadowing in the picture above isn’t quite right, but it’s the best I could do on short notice and I think you get the idea. What’s your prediction? Will Barney spend another six weeks or more waiting to come out to play? Or, could those of us not fortunate enough to drive our cars year round get to emerge from the garage early this year?

Special thanks to Mike Resta for the picture of Barney in the garage. For those of you not familiar with Mike’s car, you can check out the image above and I think you’ll get a pretty good idea of where the name comes from. In addition, I’d like to thank Paul Chenard for touching up the picture and adding the shadows to make it work with this post (I know, the lighting isn’t right, but it was the best photo I had and Paul was kind enough to morph it for me even against his better artistic judgement). :-)
