Alll amazing choices, but wouldn’t you want just one to act as a humble street car/daily driver? Arguably you could drive any of the first four as a street car (perhaps the 930 the most) but the 911 RS, the GT2 RS and GT3 RS 4.0 would all punish you on anything but the smoothest of roads…

1. ’48 Gmund No. 1 To paraphrase Dr. Porsche, it lives on in all the other cars.
2. ’56 550A. Sets a precedent for the Boxster and Cayman
3. ’94 Porsche 993. The lastest, fastest air-cooled 911.
4. ’11 Panamera Turbo S. 550 horses, and good for families
5. ’11 918. A car I can drive even in a gas-sparse future.

Biggest surprise: Only one 911!

Started this list from the year I was able to distinguish and recognize cars and not before I was born (1965), this way the cars hold truer as belonging to my era
I had to suffer through the elimination process, but here it is anyway:
1. 1969 911 S Targa (in orange)
2. 1989 911 Turbo Targa (in black)
3. 1992 964 Turbo S lightweight (in yellow)
4. 1998 Carrera 4 cabriolet (my reality check in Ocean Blue with Classic gray top)
5. 1998 993 Turbo S (in silver with brick red interior)

honorable mention: 1996 Carrera RS Coupe or Clubsport (the former has the prettier spoiler the latter has an ugly wing) in Azure Blue

Naturally unreal cars like the 1973 Carrera RS sports version, 1988 959 sport, GT1 of 1996 and GT2 of 1998 should be on anyone’s list; as for the water cooled era maybe a 2011 Speedster specially ordered at extra cost without PDK and all available weight saving options would be enjoyable

Wow, talk about a tough decision to make (choosing ONLY five Porsches)! Well, below is a rough cut:

1. 356 C or SC (four disc brakes, better carbs)
2. 1989 911 Anniversary Edition (rare with G50)
3. 1996 993 C4S (first year of 993 with C4S & Varioram)
4. 1998 993 C2S (last year of 993 with air-cooled motor)
5. 2010 Cayman S (with PDK, PASM, PCM, & …)

The list may actually change but this might be a good starting place .
